The Eagles recent success has been a blessing for the Sixers and Flyers. As the losses are piling up for the 76ers and the Flyers are mired in mediocrity, the Eagles head to Los Angeles on the heels of a six game winning streak.
After a slow start, the Eagles now have the number one defense in fewest Total Yards allowed in NFL. The Rams are a good football team and are averaging 23.8 PPG in their last 5 games. We will see how good our young secondary holds up against Rams Super Bowl winning Quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford has probably
the best duo of receivers the Eagles defense will face so far this year. The Birds have their work cut out for them on Sunday Night Football.
The Sixers are not only in a free fall, the Sixers big man Joel Embiid was called out by Tyrese Maxey in a team-only meeting and he is not happy about the meeting being leaked to the media. Is there trouble in paradise with the Sixers having their worst start to a season since 2016?
The Flyers have the luxury of staying under the radar because of the Eagles success and the Sixers in turmoil. The Flyers have lost two straight after winning 3 of their previous four games. Injuries to starting Goaltender Sam Ersson has been problematic for a team trying to find consistency on the ice.
