125th Army vs Navy Game And Eagles-Steelers Highlight Weekend

The storied rivalry between Army and Navy continues this weekend in the 125th meeting between the two academies.  Army is 11-1 coming off a victory against Tulane for the American Athletic Conference Championship and they want to make it three victories in a row against the Midshipman of Navy who are 8-3.

Both teams will play in a bowl game this year but this annual rivalry game means so much more for each squad. The Commander-In-Chief’s trophy is on the line and of course, bragging rights for the year between the two oldest military academies in the United States.

The Philadelphia Eagles welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers for a matchup of two divisional leaders from each conference facing off.  The last time the Steelers won in Philly was 1965, which is seven straight losses for the Steelers in Philadelphia.

This meeting will be a tough one for the Eagles facing Steelers Quarterback Russell Wilson who is 6-0 against the Eagles.  With all the drama swirling around AJ Brown, Jalen Hurts, and Brandon Graham this week, the Eagles have to get focused on the most difficult matchup left on the Eagles schedule.  The Eagles are on a nine-game winning streak and look to win 10 games in a row for the first time in franchise history.

The Flyers won their last two games and head to Minnesota to play a solid Wild team who have only lost six games this season.  The Flyers have been more fun to watch than a Sixers team that is finally starting to get healthy.

The Sixers have trade rumors swirling around them as the play the Jazz on Friday Night.  We are finally getting to see the 76ers Big Three with Joel Embiid, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey on the court together. We will cover it all this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.

On Saturday’s show, Producer Nick Earnshaw and former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dave Klemic join me in the studio.  We will get you ready for the Army/Navy game Saturday afternoon and the Eagles matchup against the Steelers on Sunday.
